TrygVesta’s social commitment is naturally rooted in the Group’s continuous compliance with the statutory rules applicable in the countries in which we operate.

 

Our insurances and advisory services are provided to society. We perceive ourselves as an important, integral part of the Nordic welfare systems. We are a professional fellow player to the public sector of the Nordic countries in developing welfare and security.

 

TrygVesta therefore intends to openly and actively seek a good dialogue on issues regarding a sustainable development in the Nordic region. For example in relation to the need to prioritise public planning and investments that adapt to the consequences of gradual climate change.

 

TrygVesta will also consider forming partnerships and collaborations with other businesses, governments and authorities of the Nordic countries, climate and knowledge organisations and similar bodies. We believe that partnerships, knowledge environments and exchange of experience with others facilitate the Group’s sustainable development efforts.

 

TrygVesta participates in certain charity activities, including

• employee groups in TrygVesta who at their own initiative provide assistance to the homeless during their working hours, but also as a kick-off for team learning;
• or as a partner in crime-prevention efforts such as the Night Owls in Norway. 

These activities are characterised by the dual purpose of benefiting society and TrygVesta alike.
