Our employees provide peace of mind and make a difference for our customers. TrygVesta’s mission and corporate values encourage all employees to commit themselves to this.

TrygVesta intends to attract new employees with a positive attitude to innovative thinking, change, diversity and development through the Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts.

The aim is an attractive and sustainable workplace characterised by diversity. We believe diversity and variation are prerequisites for a dynamic business, and we consider diversity an opportunity to create innovation and results.

TrygVesta continuously seeks information about the composition of employees, sickness, turnover and employee satisfaction. On a yearly basis, we anonymously question our employees about their working environment, satisfaction and wellbeing, and the results are used actively in every department of the organisation. In TrygVesta, we believe that respect, openness and trust are important for a sustainable and pleasant working environment.

TrygVesta sees business potential and innovation opportunities in embrasing diversity and therefore actively works with integration and diversity in the organisation. We are working towards a balanced composition of our employees that reflects the societies in which we do business.

For TrygVesta, diversity also signifies making an effort for individuals who have difficulty gaining a foothold on the labour market, such as long-term unemployed persons or persons with a disability or whose working capacity is otherwise impaired.

TrygVesta is very aware of continuously keeping our employees prepared for the opportunities and challenges they face in their daily work. To support that we have a competent employee development department, TrygVesta Academy, providing internal courses in leadership, project and process management, introduction programs etc. This is relevant for all employees – also those with more vulnerable position in the company due to changed qualification requirements, long-term illness or reduced working capacity.

TrygVesta also uses external development programs at different educational institutions in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark.

TrygVesta believes that helping others in society supports having compassionate, innovative and dynamic employees, which is reflected to our customers. We therefore have a positive attitude towards employee groups performing charitable work during their working hours, to an appropriate extent. Some examples of charitable work is employees participating in a mentor arrangement for people with other ethnical background than Danish, and employees in TrygVesta’s IT department who in corporation with Reed Cross served lunch for homeless people in Copenhagen.
