Over the past 3 years, TrygVesta’s total investments yielded an average return of DKK 821m. TrygVesta regards its investment policy as part of its corporate social responsibility. TrygVesta is responsible for ensuring that returns and sustainability go hand in hand, including in its current investment activities.
The majority of TrygVesta’s investment portfolio is managed by Nordea Investment Management (NIM). Minor parts of the portfolio are managed by Skagen Fonden and Holberg Forvaltning. All three companies have implemented ethical guidelines.
Consulting firm Ethix screens Nordea Investment Management's investments with respect to compliance with the principles of the UN Global Compact concerning environmental issues, human rights, employee rights and anti-corruption. The principle is that Ethix and consulting firm Hermes seek a dialogue with any companies that do not comply, encouraging them to change their behaviour. TrygVesta ceases to invest in any companies that continue to violate the principles of the UN Global Compact.
TrygVesta has joined the Carbon Disclosure Project. TrygVesta reports annually to the Carbon Disclosure Project about the Group’s climate strategy, initiatives and own performance in order to reduce CO2 emissions in the Nordic region.
