AXA Corporate Solutions will be TrygVesta’s new international network partner, thereby improving the servicing of Nordic corporate customers' international insurance needs.
TrygVesta and AXA Corporate Solutions have signed a letter of intent stating that by 1 January 2009 TrygVesta will be using the international network of AXA Corporate Solutions. The agreement substantially expands the existing collaboration.
- Nordic corporate customers increasingly have an international scope. This means that it is necessary to have a strong international partner if you want to insure large Nordic corporate customers. Having AXA as a partner allows us to serve our corporate customers in the Nordic region even better than before. Further, the agreement will support recent years’ growth in TrygVesta’s Corporate business area, says Lars Bonde, member of the Group Executive Management and in charge of Corporate.
Keeping up with the customers
- TrygVesta will become part of a strong, global network so that our customers with international activities can have all their insurance requirements serviced in one place. More and more corporate customers expand internationally and establish subsidiaries or production all over the world and it is important that we can follow our customers in the progress.
As part of the agreement with AXA, TrygVesta will relocate its own employees to the offices of AXA Corporate Solutions in London. This will provide our customers with additional security in terms of best possible service handling. At the same time, we will work closely together with AXA’s deep expertise and this will make TrygVesta’s employees even more internationally oriented, says Lars Bonde.
AXA Corporate Solutions is part of the AXA Group, which globally employs more than 150,000 staff. In 2007, Group revenue was EUR 94bn. The international network of AXA Corporate Solutions geographically covers 95% of the world and is represented in more than 80 countries with particular strength in Europe, North America and Asia/Pacific.
The agreement will replace TrygVesta’s current collaboration with Zürich. This agreement was terminated because Zürich is planning to open its own offices in Denmark and Norway.
TrygVesta and AXA have collaborated for eight years. TrygVesta thus serves AXA’s customers in Denmark and Norway.
